May 2017 Bookclub News

Dust Bowl Girls

Dear Bookclub,
Lydia Reeder's "Dust Bowl Girls" is a true family story; Coach Sam Babb is her great-uncle.
Set in the depression era, it has been described as "Boys in the Boat" meets "A League of Their Own". I really enjoyed both of those so looking forward to a long plane ride to Boston on Thursday with this for my read.
